Richard Albert Stoots

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Albert Stoots (Portsmouth, Virginia), born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, William (Pete) Stoots and Evelyn Stoots.  He is survived by his wife Joyce Oliver Stoots, his son Richard Stoots Jr; his step-sons Gregory L. Evans and Michael J. Evans; and his siblings, Sandy, Linda, Frances, Jan, Bob, Jim, Sammy and Bill.  He is also survived by three grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
