It was early in the 1950's when television came to Baba & Dzedo Briscar's house in Lemont. Delores would have no part of the little rabbit ears antenna. Here she is high on the roof installing an outdoor antenna. I remember the 9-inch Dumont TV with the beautiful wood cabinet, and of course, 2 or 3 channels. That's all that was available then Ann Marie

afraid of heights. She would check out her roof at her house. She
painted the outside of her house with no problem climbing on a ladder.
