Adam Ellsworth Obituary

Adam Joseph Ellsworth, 25, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015.

Adam was born in Ravenna, Ohio on February 5, 1990 to parents Joseph and Kathie Ellsworth. He resided with his wife Emily in Haskins, Ohio near Toledo where he was employed as the accounting manager at Hollywood Casino.

Adam attended Immaculate Conception School, St. Joseph Church in Randolph and graduated in 2008 from St. Thomas Aquinas High School where he met Emily Putnam and together became high school sweethearts. He attended Bowling Green State University where he earned his bachelors and masters degrees in accounting. Adam enjoyed video games and was a real gamer. He loved sports and was a big fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers. Adam was a caring, loving person, and loved by everyone he met. He had a calm about him that helped in stressful moments and was everyone's "rock". Adam enjoyed music and liked to attend concerts and go to the movies with his wife. He had a fondness for the Toledo Zoo and loved to go there often with his wife. He also enjoyed many family vacations and trips with his wife, especially to Disney World, where he proposed marriage. Adam loved his job and the people he worked with but most of all he loved his wife and family.

Adam is survived by his wife Emily (Putnam) Ellsworth, his parents Joseph and Kathie Ellsworth and his sister Melissa Ellsworth. Adam will also be sadly missed by his grandfather Gerald Ellsworth, Sr., his beloved cat Disney and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Delton and Carolyn Davis and Florence Boehmer.
