Gerald Wayne Ellsworth Sr. "Jerry"

1938 - 2020
 

Gerald Wayne Ellsworth Sr. "Jerry", 81, of Streetsboro, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 14, 2020. He was born on June 21, 1938 in Connellsville, PA to the late John William Ellsworth and Mary Carmella Briscar. He served in the US Air Force. Jerry worked most of his career building, servicing and installing steel mill equipment. After leaving manufacturing he was an electrician working on house or small business electrical. He was committed to sharing his electrical knowledge with his children and grandchildren. Jerry's hobbies included working on cars, building decks and his favorite, fishing. He volunteered regularly at his church (KCN and King Of Glory BIC). Jerry was always willing to help anyone in need and was loved by all who knew him. We were truly blessed because of him.

He was preceded in death by Adam Ellsworth; grandson, and Carole Smith; sister. Jerry leaves to cherish his memory; children, Gerald (Julie) Ellsworth of Ravenna, Joseph (Kathie) Ellsworth of Deerfield, Theresa Kiser of Fremont, Timothy (Mary) Ellsworth of Ravenna; sisters, Shirley (Bob) Detwiler of PA; Rita (Elmer) Walker of NE; Mary Preston of GA; 7 grandchildren; Monica, Robert, Micella, Dylan, Melissa, Logan, Brianna; 9 great-grandchildren; Kyle, Bryce, Jonas, Raelin, Cade, Gwendolyn, Felix, Emma, Eleanor; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Private services to be held. Pastor Paul Meduri officiating. He will be laid to rest at Grandview Memorial Park, 5400 Lakewood Rd., Ravenna, OH 44266.
